If you would like to have a special paint scheme of your favorite car or driver, or maybe you have your own sponsors you would like to run, simply make your request here in this forum by clicking the 'create new post' button below. All requests should include the following information to make it easier on the person painting your car or truck. If you have a special request on a design, add that info in the special instructions, like flames, checkerboard, etc... etc... we will email or IM you if we need more information. Requests receiving donations when submitted will receive priority.
Posting Reference PicsWe now have an attachment function in our thread posts so you can upload direct. Just go to the bottom of the post where is reads "Attach" and click on the "Browse" button. This will allow you to upload your pic(s) direct to the post. You can click on the "more attachments" option to add more pics... you are allowed 4 total pics. No size limit here since they are uploaded to your post in thumbnail form. We encourage this option just for its simplicity.
If you are posting pics of a scheme or logos for reference direct to the forums via an off site image host (i.e. Imageshack, Photobucket, etc.) please make pics no larger than 800 x 600 and only 2 allowed per post (unless you are using their thumbnail options). If the pics are smaller than that (i.e. 640 x 480 than you may post 1 additional pic.
- 1. Paint scheme requests are to be painted by Outlaw Paintshop crew members ONLY unless otherwise noted. This will be determined by the OPS crew.
2. Please DO NOT PM a specific Graphic Engineer about doing a request for you. It makes it hard to track our requests.
3. Outlaw Paintshop is a non for profit website and we all do these requests in our own spare time. Most of us here have day jobs and this is a hobby for us not our living. With that said, requests that are accompanied with a PayPal donation using the button on the main page of our site will be given top priority over all other requests. Those donations help to keep the doors at OPS open as this website if funded out of our own pockets.
4. CURRENTLY YOU MAY ONLY REQUEST 1 CAR AT A TIME IN EACH POST. THIS DOES NOT MEAN MAKE MULTIPLE POSTS FOR EACH REQUEST ONE RIGHT AFTER THE OTHER. ONCE YOUR FIRST CAR IS DONE THEN YOU MAY REQUEST THE NEXT CAR AND IT WILL BE PLACED IN LINE WITH THE REQUESTS IN FRONT OF IT.
5. We get A LOT of requests here, so be patient. If your request has been marked [painter needed] just be patient. We all have lives outside these forums weather it be real racing, sim racing, or just family stuff. Please understand that we try to get to things as quick as possible but sometimes, real life takes over.
6. If you constantly ask "is it done yet?" or are one to bump your post all the time, your request will be closed and locked.
7. You must be a member of the American Sim Racing Series or have 10 posts on our forum to post a paint scheme request. Don't just spam our forum with 1 or 2 word posts either... they will be deleted and your request closed and locked.
8. As of 1/25/2011, the American Ethanol dry break fuel filler decal will be included on all Cup, Nationwide, and Truck requests automatically unless otherwise noted on the request form. There is a new option on that for that is automatically checked to "yes" meaning include. If you do not wish to have this added to your request, please make sure you mark "NO" and remove the mark from the yes option. On all other requests it will not be provided.
9. If you do not use the following form and follow our simple rules your request will be closed and locked.
