Hey all,

Ive been trying to figure this one out but its not getting to me....

How do we make the "Reflective Material" Effects in photoshop on lets say numbers or paint schemes

Here are some pictures to explain what i mean.... Any help would be appreciated.

(p.s. please dont answer like one other guy on masgrfx who told me you cant reflect stuff in games lolll cuz thats not even close to what i wanted to know lollllll)

You can download a the paint layers over at Racin Grafix... Thats what I used on the number for this car...

Are you meaning that they actually "sheen" off like they're using prismatic vinyl or... are you just saying that you can use that pattern fill in your #'s?  I was curious as to how that works in NASCAR Racing 2k3.  I know in RFactor you can control shine with alpha channels (can even do a completely chrome car and the reflections within will copy it's surroundings in realtime) but I was unaware that this could be done in NR2K3.  Would be cool to know, any tutorials on it?

they actually sheen, as far as i know i am the only one who does this to their cars. i will try to right up a tutorial for it because there are alot of steps
